While many wrecks around the Irish coast are protected areas, there are still hundreds more which are open and safe for divers to visit. By completing the PADI Wreck Diver Specialty you can gain important skills in the techniques of Wreck diving and research. You will learn the correct safety aspects to adopt when visiting wrecks at different depths, how to navigate safely in sometimes poor visibility and avoid the dangers of wreck penetration.The course involves theory and practice and will include 4 open water dives. All materials are supplied as part of the programme including the Wreck Specialty Certificate and ID card.
