Trip Cost

The price for the package including full board accommodation, 3 meals a day, beverages, local wines and diving package, with local transfers on Roatan to and from the airport. €2,675 (this does not include overnight accommodation on the outward and return legs of the trip. We hope to keep this to appproximately €50 per night.)

We will be staying in the Fantasy Island Resort, they will cater for all our needs, accommodation, meals and diving. For those of you who are non divers or divers just taking it easy there are lots to see and do on the island. Busy little towns with traders and shops, lovely walks, churches, museums and lots more. Of course you can always chill by the pool and de-stress for the afternoon.

Fantasy Island is a 21 acre private island accessed by a wooden bridge idyllically situated on the southeast side of Roatan. The resort has 115 rooms, PADI 5 Star Dive Centre with dive retail store, two private beaches, swimming pool, dining room with indoor and outdoor seating, lobby bar with outdoor patio, complimentary WiFi Internet available in the lobby, beach volleyball court, marina, souvenir shop, billiard tables and tennis courts.

The diving around the island is reported to be the real treasure of Roatan, it lies along the southern end of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef, the second longest Barrier Reef in the world. Everything from beautiful vibrant coral, massive sponges, multi coloured fish, large pelagic species like Manta Ray, Sea Turtle, and Whale Shark.

The Centre offers excellent boat diving to some really wonderful sites and you can also avail of unlimited diving on some of the best shore diving sites in the Caribbean. During dive shop hours the staff will be drop you off and pick you up at the Dive Gazebo. One giant stride and you’ll find a sunken DC3 aircraft, the wreck of the 110ft freighter the Prince Albert and 3 walls only a few fin kicks away. Want to dive after the dive center closes? Just let the staff know and they’ll be happy to drop off tanks before they close and you bring your gear.
