Killary

Killary is Ireland's only Fjord and contains a large body of water which runs inland from the Galway and Mayo coasts as far as the village of Leenane.

The sheltered water makes this an ideal all weather dive site, visibility is good with excellent shore and boat diving opportunities. We run so many trips to Killary each year that it has almost become our second home!

As well as the immeadiate dive sites, the islands of Inish Boffin, Inish Turk and Clare Island lie within reach. Schools of dolphins regularly follow the boats which travel back and forth.

For most of our visits we stay in Sleepzone Connemara.
